Thank you for visiting our giving page. Like all churches, St. Vigor’s is entirely self-financing, with a General Fund budget approaching £14,000 per annum. This includes our contribution to The Common Fund administered by The Diocese of Bath & Wells.
We also have a Fabric Fund, which is separate from the day-to-day running costs above, and can only be used for the preservation and maintenance of our historic church. In October of 2021, our historic pipe organ was relocated to Portugal and in early 2022, we completed the emergency restoration of two historic wall monuments. However, much remains to be done including replacement of the nave and chancel roofs, which will be in the region of £100,000.
