Please do join us for a special Christian Aid themed service of Evensong at Wells Cathedral. The speaker will be Dr Frances Clemson, the Faith Communications Lead at Christian Aid. She works with churches across the UK and global partners supporting Christian Aid’s work to end poverty through fundraising, action and prayer. She will be speaking about Christian Aid’s work in Guatemala and the biblical call to abundant hope and just action.

There will also be an exhibition of Christian Aid posters to mark the organisation’s 80^th anniversary. Alongside the posters is information telling the story of Christian Aid’s work from its origins to today and incorporating QR codes so visitors can take the experience further and watch videos or listen to audio connected to initiatives. The poster exhibition will be in the Cathedral from the afternoon of Saturday 11th May to the evening of Wednesday 14th May.
