Covid-19: Update on Government announcement
The Rector and Churchwardens are reviewing the Government guidance that places of worship in England will be allowed to reopen for services and weddings on the 4 July, after the latest easing of lockdown restrictions were announced on Tuesday on 23rd June.
However, as with previous such changes to the guidance, individual churches will need to determine how it applies to them. Further, The Diocese are waiting for the full Government advice on how this can be done safely and intend to meet with Area and Lay Deans on Wednesday 1 July (via Zoom). Until advised further, please assume that St. John’s and St. Vigor’s will remain closed, and we will contine to meet on Zoom for Morning Prayer on Sundays at 10:30am.
Please visit these news pages regularly, where we will endeavour to provide the latest updates regarding St. John’s and St. Vigor’s. Also, please do not hesitate to Contact us if you require any specific information.
