If you go into our church hall, you will notice a ‘birds eye view’ of our church hall roof next to the servery hatch. It consists of 2,500 spaces for stickers that will show our progress towards replacing the church hall’s roof. This is the first phase of ‘The New Life Project‘, as we also need to update and / or replace the heating in the church as well as the church hall. You can find our more about our project and all the ways you can donate to help us by clicking the button below.
If you would like to donate now, just click the ‘Donate via JustGiving’ button. It’s estimated that the roof requires 2,714 tiles. At £25 a tile we could raise £67,850. Tiles are £25 each, but please feel free to donate whatever you can. If we can hit that target of 2,500 tiles, it will go a long way towards paying for the roof and pave the way towards the £150,000 or so that it’s estimated we will need in total. Should excess funds be raised, they will be used for the fabric of St John’s church and hall.
To date, we’ve raised over £34,500, including donations via JustGiving and the other ways you can support us, so very many thanks to everyone who has donated or pledged so far.
