We use iKnow Church, for our public ‘What’s on’ or Events calendar. It’s displayed as either a simple list or as a ‘Month View’ (NB: not available on Mobile devices). On larger devices such as a PC or Apple Mac, you should see a complete month (you may have to scroll up and down though). However, on smaller devices such as tablets, the calendar may display as a list, depending on your devices orientation.

To navigate around our website, hover over any element and click or use the menus. Explicit links such as our blue buttons or blue text will turn orange when you hover over them.
Menus: Depending on your device and / or whether you are using the full screen or a window, the menu will appear in one of two ways.
On larger devices such as pcs or laptops and when using the full screen, the menu will usually appear across the top of the screen like this: –
On smaller devices such as tablet computers or phones or if you are on a larger device but not using the full screen, the menu may appear as as a block of two or three bars, top left or right. Just click the bars circled in red below and the menu will expand. You may need to use the scroll bars to the right or swipe up / down on touchscreen devices to scroll down the full menus list.

We are delighted to announce that the Church Hall heating is being upgraded over the coming days and the hall may be closed on various days to enable the works to be completed safely.

Planning to visit St. John’s Church, Chilcompton? Please note that the building will be closed to visitors on Thursday 2nd November to enable further work to the refurbishment of the chancel floor to be carried out safely. Thursday’s Holy Communion will be held the Church Hall. The church will be open again to visitors from Friday 3rd November.
