Current Requirements

St. Vigor’s & St. John’s along with all churches in the Midsomer Norton Deanery support the Bath, Keynsham and Somer Valley Foodbank..

Please click the ‘Foodbank List‘ button below for their current urgent requirements and some always needed ones(NB: A most needed list is no longer produced, but a new list is issued when their needs change due to high demand or low stock in their warehouses).

Your donations can be dropped off at church. Items can also be bought any time and dropped off at Tesco or Sainsbury’s, Midsomer Norton.   

They also have a “BanktheFood” page which is regularly updated with their current needs. The QR code below (you can scan it or click on it) takes you a website where the App can be downloaded. Searching for Bath, Keynsham and Somer Vally Foodbank, or allowing the App to use your location, should take you to their list. Items and then be purchased and donated in the usual way.

Church Hall Heating
24th June - 1st July

We are delighted to announce that the Church Hall heating is being upgraded over the coming days and the hall may be closed on various days to enable the works to be completed safely. 

This is the first element of our New Life Project – with grateful thanks to all of our supporters.

Refurbishment
Thursday 2nd November

Planning to visit St. John’s Church, Chilcompton? Please note that the building will be closed to visitors on Thursday 2nd November to enable further work to the refurbishment of the chancel floor to be carried out safely. Thursday’s Holy Communion will be held the Church Hall. The church will be open again to visitors from Friday 3rd November.
